Double Eagle

Double Eagle

Have you ever had 2 people in your group eagle the same hole in the same round? Today, while playing a practice round for North Kingstown High school I had something happen to me for the first time. On the fourth hole at Quonset Golf Course I chipped a sand wedge exactly how I wanted, it landed just on the back of the green and rolled into the cup. Everyone was slapping high fives congratulating me on my second eagle ever, forgetting about the guy who, while this was happening, had just stuck his second shot on the Par 5 to 15 feet and was lining up his putt. He drained the putt in the back of the hole and we moved to the 5th tee. Then, I noticed, while putting his score down, that he got an Eagle 3 too. We had both eagled the Par 5 fourth at Quonset, has that ever happened in your foursome?

During a high school golf match I halved the first hole at Needham Country Club with an eagle. My opponent and myself both reached the par 5 in 2 and made 15 to 20 footers

Wow! That’s never happened in my group. Congrats!

With your swing, I can see lots of eagles in your future. Keep swinging!
